A Few Words from our Worshipful Master
Freemasonry is more than an organization to which you can say you belong . It is a choice to a way of life. When I joined this fraternity, I had no thoughts of becoming any type of officer. I joined the fraternity for the friendship, morality, and brotherly love found in Masonry. I never planned on becoming Worshipful Master. But like the captain of a ship, he never sees the port to which he is sailing. He continually makes small course corrections to finally reach his destination.
Men have been drawn to our Fraternity because freedom, equality, respect, religious tolerance, charity and a belief in a Supreme Being have been the cornerstones of our existence
Now that I have been appointed into the Chair of Elkington Lodge I look forward to working together with all the other brethren of the lodge to improve work that has already been started by my predecessors.
Our plans for the next year include initiating at least two or more new members, raising or passing junior members of the lodge to higher degrees and teaching the principles of masonry to all who wish to get involved within the lodge. A man who becomes a Mason can expect to find in his fraternity the opportunity to learn and to lead; to be inspired and entertained; to be challenged and respected; to be involved with his family, his Brothers and his community; and be proud to be a member of an organization committed to making a difference.
We have drawn our membership from far and wide and, if you wish to join us as either a member or a guest, you will be made very welcome.
